| Abstrakt EN: | Paroemias reflect the understanding and perception of the world by a people. The author of the article aims to demonstrate that figurative associations of love in paroemias preserve the echoes of folk traditions, religious and mythological concepts ? the heritage of antiquity of different levels. Love in paroemias is associated with 'pure? and 'impure? animals (swan, owl, cuckoo and others) and is described through vegetative images (oak, mushrooms, berry, raspberry etc.). It has visual and gustatory 'registers' of perception. The 'register' of odour for understanding love does not exist in paroemias. Love is viewed through the 'prism? of different ritual actions, for example, the inspection of a prospective bride, wedding and others. |
